Hockley Chamber of Trade are campaigning for a reintroduction of the half hour charge rate for smaller towns and villages like Hockley where customers just want a short visit.

We understand that larger signs are soon to be installed at all Rochford Council’s car parks drawing attention to the current concession of free parking on Saturday afternoons and all day on Sunday, but there are no plans to set a tariff for half hour parking.
